The Developer Gold Account was primarily designed to replace the old server renting system which allowed players to build their own Playerworld. The introduction of this new account type removed the need for rented servers to have their own admin accounts and instead binds the rented server to the users Graal account and grants full administrative rights to that user.

Other than full-time access to the rented server for the duration of the subscription this account type offers few benefits and doesn't allow Gold access to any other playerworld.
