==History==
===2009===
EuroCenter had previously released many games for the Apple Appstore, including Adrenaline Pool, Ace Tennis, Battle Online, DinoSmash, Adrenaline Golf, and Cocoto Kart Online.  However, there were no iPhone Graal applications.  This would change in December, 2009, when Classic iPhone, the first ever GraalOnline server for iDevices, was released.  Stefan would appoint Xor to be the manager of the server.  Upon release, the playerbase was around fifty.  Many players from PC Graal predicted that the player population for the iPhone server would continue to reach great heights to rival Graal PC's playercount; although the server was only open for a breif time in 2009, many people could already tell the potential of the newborn server.
===2010===
Classic iPhone was still a brand new game.  Throughout the year, the staff team would continue to surprise players with various updates of all kinds.  Probably the most dynamic update in Classic iPhone was the release of guilds and houses.  Players were able to purchase houses and furniture to go inside as well as create guilds.  Soon after guilds were released, Guild Towers (and later Guild Spar) were released.  Players would be able to fight for towers to earn points for their guilds.  New Towns were opened all over the world, as well.  Perhaps the most widely anticipated town was Snowtown.  Once Snowtown released, you could climb the cliffs to the north of the overworld and journey to a new land.  (Many players were excited to see snow for the first time since the previous year.)  Other notable towns that were released were Balamb Island, Nexus Town, and Deadwood.  It wasn't long before players could also purchase horses and the drasine.  Also, the first event, CTF, was released.  This event allowed you to play the classic game as well as earn a few extra gralats.  Houses were still as popular as ever, so a new, bigger type of house, called a guild house, was released.  This allowed for all players of a guild to both fit inside and enter the house at ease. Another major release of Classic iPhone in 2010 was the constant supply of new ways to customize your player.  At first, only hats were released; however, by the end of the year, the player would oftentimes log on to see new bodies and heads for sale.  Aside from all the content, sometimes players found themselves a little bored with the server.  To try and bring more excitement to the server, admins would host games like Hide 'N' Seek and Juggernaut for exclusive prizes.  As players had previously predicted, the playercount would soar on Classic iPhone.  The playercount was usually anywhere from 1200-1800 players.  Players would see whether or not 2011 was as big of a year in server growth as 2010 was.
===2011===
2011 started out with many bug-fixes and many customization releases; however, there has yet to be very much solid content released.  Regardless, players are still as active as ever on the server.

Classic iPhone is a server specificity designed for compatibility with the iPhone, handling most of the scripts on the server-side to improve performance. Classic iPhone can be accessed via a special version of the Mac Graal client only available for the iPhone.

Technical Information

The Classic iPhone server, as well as all iPhone servers, run a specially modified Mac Graal client. The client runs off the same engine as normal Graal clients, and executes GS2 code on the client. This means that it is possible to develop content for both the iPhone client and the normal client at the same time, and using the same tools as for normal development, such as the level editor, Remote Control, and Graal Shop.
